DSME Construction Co. to Develop a Golf Resort in the Philippines

DSME Construction Co., a subsidiary of KOSDAQ-listed Hankook Technology, announced on Feb. 22 that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with BOPS and LT Sambo for a golf resort development project in Bohol of the Philippines.

Under the agreement, the three organizations forged a strategic cooperative relationship regarding the golf resort in Bohol, which is dubbed Soluce, and other overseas projects they are planning to promote.

Under the agreement, DSME Construction and LT Sambo will carry out construction, while BAPS will be tasked with development and implementation. The project is the first luxury complex leisure town on Bohol Island, which is a popular vacation spot in the Philippines. The luxury complex leisure town will have a total floor space of 58,000 square meters. It will have an 18-hole golf course, a hotel, a village and a shopping center.
