2 multi-purpose buildings completed in Zamboanga del Norte

MANILA — The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed two (2) multi-purpose building projects in Zamboanga Del Norte.

Secretary Mark A. Villar said that the buildings were purposely built to support the nationwide community and school development and provide reliable infrastructure projects even during this pandemic.

In a report to Secretary Villar from DPWH Region 9 Director Cayamombao D. Dia, a multi-purpose building was built in the amount of P3.84-million in Barangay Poblacion, Tampilisan, Zamboanga Del Norte that will serve as a venue for various trainings and seminars to enhance the productivity and capability of the local farmers and entrepreneurs.

In addition, another completed project located at Kalawit Central School with a total budget allocation of P3.84-million now serves as a site for receiving and distributing of self-learning materials for the modular approach to students of Barangay Poblacion, Kalawit, Zamboang Del Norte.

The new-built covered court has a land area of 19×30-meter and involves construction of structural, steel and earthworks and reinforced concrete for footing, tie beam, slab on grade and pedestal. (DPWH)
